The nursery industry is becoming as trend led as the fashion industry in creating exciting fabrics and colours for yummy mummies throughout the world. Fashion conscious mothers are keen on owning the latest brands and colours and will change their pushchairs as often as they change their handbag.

So what is hot this season? The main trend emerging into the market is black, not only for fabric but for the chassis or frames of the pushchairs and prams. The most fashionable pushchair brand on the market, Bugaboo has released a complete black pram with not only a black frame but also black denim fabric.

In the beginning of 2010 Silver Cross launched its latest pushchair the Silver Cross Surf. This has ticked all the boxes for fashion conscious parents by not only offering the Surf on a silver frame with a variety of bright on trend fabrics, but also a black frame and a gun metal frame.

In addition, to the limited edition fabrics, Bugaboo have become a partner with (Red) the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.
